Personally I can see this happening when I compare Rogers Customer Service with the 2 providers that I've used (Bell and Videotron). I can't comment on Telus but I heard that Telus is as bad as Bell.

I find Bell and Videotron to be a lot worse than Rogers in terms of Customer Service. That does not mean that Rogers is excellent, great, or good. It just means that the other providers that I've dealt with are/were worse.

To be honest, I've had great customer service in the past with Rogers, and do now as well with Koodo.

Maybe it's the tone a person takes with them... just a thought.
    Un-Rogered, and getting better 'value'.

This. I never had issues with Rogers customer service. I left them for Telus because I needed the Canada-US plan. Telus customer service has been good too.

Funny how anyone who has a positive experience with anyone is labeled a "shill".

I've worked for Rogers for over a year and found their customer service to be generally mediocre- I was embarrassed to be associated with the brand lol. I signed up to Bell and never had any issues with them for either Fibe or mobile. I found the reps very very good any time I rang for whatever reason and knowledgable. I know that this is generally the opposite of what people say about Bell but upon experience I would recommend Bell and their customer service over Rogers any day. I do have a PAYG on Telus and the service is excellent but I've never actually dealt with care aside from when I purchased my sim car. I hear Rogers customer service has improved since I left a year ago but I'd genuinely be surprised.

Compared to Bell, even the duct cleaning calls from India offer better customer service, so I guess it should be no surprise.

Mobile Syrup Readers award 'ROGERS' the Best National Customer Service

I’ve noticed an improvement recently. Had to call in to renegotiate my tv+internet+home phone package (credits were expiring). I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to argue at all. The rep offered me something very lucrative. She was polite throughout the entire process, and I was happily on my way in less than 30 mins. Also took less than 10 mins to get thru to someone. I can only assume customer service on the wireless side has also improved. Granted this was just one instance but it was far better than what I experienced the previous few times I had to call in.
