    audio problem

I have a six week old Moto G4 Play which has developed an odd problem. Frequently over the last two days, when I make a call, the sound is fine for the first minute or so, but after that, although I can still clearly hear the person I am talking to, he or she cannot hear me. At first I thought it might be a headphone problem, since the first time it occurred, I was using headphones, but since then I have tried it with different headphones and without headphones at all. The same problem occurs. And it is happening on every call, not just on occasional calls. I have tried it inside and outside without success - and I am not in a rural area; I am in Santa Monica in Southern California. I have rebooted it several times and still the same thing happens. Does anyone have any helpful ideas?

You might be accidentally hitting the mute button on the screen. I can't tell you how many times I have done just that. I press the power button right after the person picks up to keep the screen off, so I won't accidentally press the mute button with my cheek.

Can the person on the other end not hear you at all, or is it broken/garbled?

Sounds like a possible warranty issue, don't wait any longer and contact your carrier.
Don't make me turn this car around.....
