Yeah same here! Same thing to my friend to. Does your number by any chance have *** 896 ****
I just randomly got a voicemail from them yesterday without a call. Weird. My friend is not on Fido too and he still gets it

Over the past two months, I’ve been getting calls from this number (+17783832637). I’ve already blocked the number on my iPhone but still keep getting voicemail messages from it. When I call it back during the daytime, it rings busy and when I call it during the night time it keeps ringing indefinitely.
The voicemail left is a recording in Chinese and the message repeats twice.
At first I thought I had probably subscribed myself to some list, but now my girlfriend has also started receiving the same calls. We’re both registered on the anti-spam registry but we all know how much that helps.
Does anyone else recognize this number from their recents as spam calls? Does anyone know if there’s a way to report spammers to Fido?
Appreciate the help all.

I just ran the number through here, it’s a landline on primius https://www.textmagic.com/free-tools/carrier-lookup
Call display is not 100%. Just because your phone displays a phone number, doesn't mean that the phone in question actually called you.
I subscribe to VoIP and I can change my outgoing call display number to show almost any phone number (even if I don't own it). I generally set my outgoing call display number for my VoIP system to show my home phone (even when I'm using my cellphone and the VoIP SIP app) since I don't want people calling me directly back on my cellphone.
Thanks, I’m aware of how CID spoofing works. Regardless of whether the spammer is spoofing the call display (this obviously crosses the line of legality changes considering the intent of the caller, so with more reason) or not, there should still be a way to have these numbers reported somewhere.

So now, this thing happens to me every day. The spammer is obviously CID spoofing (today's call was from 6047346190) because when I called the number, I get a carrier recording stating that the number is unassigned.
Here's the recording: https://instaud.io/26jY
Can anyone relate and maybe post if they've found a way to get rid of this?
They are not going easy on me today! Larger influx of calls from NY (CLI spoofed of course) claiming they’re Well Fargo agents. 7 calls so far!
This isn’t a Fido issue though. Getting this on my non-Fido phone too.
