    Really Apple?!?!?

i got the SE last month and had IOS 11.1.2 already loaded..theres been 4 updates since i had my phone but i never updated due to all the bad things (battery drain/throttle cpu) plus my phone seem just fine

well i woke up and found that my phone updated to IOS 11.2.5..so i went to downgrade back to 11.1.2 but cant find anything on apples page besides it telling me that 11.2.5 is the newest update

how do i go back to ios 11.1.2? already notice that my battery is draining a bit fast 96% since i took it off the charger 30 mis ago, didnt even do anything besides log back into icloud..before my phone would stay on 100% for a good hour over a hour depending what im doing but like i said i already notice this drain

no i didnt do a backup of my phone (friend already ask) cuz i JUST got my phone last month and didnt have anything on there i cared about..silly:

After a period of time Apple stops signing older versions of its operating system. You may be only able to go back one update. It is best to update until the offered version solves your problems. Eventually apps will not work with older iOS versions. Here is one set of instructions:
https://www.imobie.com/support/how-t...-to-ios-10.htm Use these search terms to find others: "Revert to older ios version"

Your phone doesn’t update by itself. You have to tell it to do so. But you have to be careful when it asks because you could easily click install later then that will do it. Once a new iOS comes out you only have a few days to upgrade to the previous version. Back in the day of jailbreaking you could save your shsh blob and go back to previous versions. No mas.

There is an option in Settings>General>Software Updates to install immediately or later when an update is available. Since iOS 9.0, Later will install the update between 2-4 AM if the telephone is connected to power and has a Wi-Fi connection. In earlier versions, you had to click Install for Later at the time you wanted to install the update.

The OP has not said if he downloaded the update. None of my devices auto download updates when connected to wifi. Once my devices have downloaded the update, then I can chose install now or later or I can delete the uninstalled update.

It's also a good idea to go through your Settings once an upgrade has taken place. Sometimes the updates reset some settings and not always in ways that enhance battery life IYKWIM.

ive check seems like all settings havent changed but battery life has for sure taken a hit...before the update i was able to go all day and at night around 9pm phone would be around 25%...after the update phone is dead around 5pm.....also phone turns off at 6%

soooo glad i only paid $99 and not $800+....

It can take a few days after an update for the phone to finish indexing, etc., all which is done in the background, for the phone to settle down.

A: No, I would treat her as an equal.

this is where the adage "you get what you pay for" comes into play

i paid $99 where others paid $500 within the past few months for the 6s to the 7s plus so that doesnt really apply here..u can for sure say that about most cheap Android phones..its apples fault not the user
