Question Dual AT&T sims for OnePlus 5

Our business has a new division and the manager is interested in not carrying two phones (person and work issued). If we were to supply him with a OnePlus 5 or 5T, both with AT&T sims (one personal, one work), how would that work? Can you have both sims be AT&T with one IMEI? Can both numbers receive and make calls? What about texting and data? Just looking for some direction as we mostly issue iPhones to employees. Thanks.

Dual AT&T sims for OnePlus 5

each SIM slot has a different IMEI.

Sure, this all will work. Both numbers can make/receive calls and send/receive SMS. No VoLTE or wifi calling though.

MMS will probably be limited to the SIM with active data as data can only be active on one SIM at a time.
