    Pay-as-you-go, Transferring to Postpaid verizon

What happens to the balance on a "Pay as you go" Verizon plan, if you transfer it to a postpaid plan (adding an additional shared line to existing post paid service).

Do you have to do this in some particular way to get the credit applied to the post paid account or do you lose the money?

Best to do online/chat/phone or in store?

    Thanks!

Since you are moving to an existing postpaid plan that you aren't the account owner of, I would go with the account owner to a corporate store and get this done there. If you have an unused balance on your prepaid plan, I think they can credit that as a bill credit to the postpaid plan.

FYI - a prepaid to postpaid conversion counts as a new line for the BOGOF.
