AT&T Prepaid Quietly introduces a new 8GB Service plan!

Well I was browsing the AT&T Prepaid Plan page this morning(4/19) and saw a plan that was not there a couple days ago.

New Plan: Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data with 8 Gigs of High Speed data(Unlimited 128kbps after high speed data is used up) for $50 monthly without Auto Pay, $40 monthly with Auto Pay.

    Screenshot included to show proof.

    Landline: Google Voice

Mobile Entertainment: AT&T Prepaid as primary, Three UK sim as secondary.

Sort of looks like the old $50 Cricket plan found its way to AT&T Prepaid.

It's kind of odd how the new $50 8GB plan gets a $10 discount for auto pay which essentially makes the same price as the 6GB plan which is also $40 with auto pay. I can't see why anyone would go with the $45 plan with 6GB's now unless they really, really hated auto pay.

It also looks they are making some changes to the multi line discounts:

Does the new $50 plan have:
    - Us phone and data in Canada and Mexico?
    - Mobile Hotspot?
    - Unlimited talk/text to mexico?

Not to keep mentioning this but funny they keep changing up their plans but features wise like WiFi calling they don’t put in there. Just saying

Just a reminder to people, if you signed up with the 2nd and 12th month free, and you change to the $50 per month plan, you lose your 12th month free...

I know, because I just watched my $45 account credit disappear as I upgraded to the $50 plan from the $45 plan...

    Doh...

Maybe this is a test release. I'm not seeing it on ATT's website after work. Tempting if ATT has messed up my postpaid plan and don't fix it. Won't know for sure until the 21st when my plan month ends. Assuming hotspot support.
iPhone X is my current primary phone. I have older model iPhones and Moto phones available on other lines. Currently prepaid, though would consider postpaid on right plan.

The $50 plan is available to choose under "available plans" on the PayGoOnline.com Prepaid site...

That is apparently paygonline.com, paygoonline.com isn't a real web page. And it must be for existing customers, since it asks for phone number and pin. Not yet shown as available plan on www.att.com

$55 for unlimited doesnt sound bad. One of my neighbors is thinking about dropping TMobile one to get the $55 unlimited on att prepaid. Would save him around $15 a month. Not sure if it includes hotspot but he has never used that anyway

It looks like tomorrow they will have $65 unlimited with $10 off for autopay.

I'll go back and check to make sure I didn't read it wrong. My guess is it will have quite a few stipulations for that price. Could be a gimped out version of unlimited with no hotspot slow speeds etc

Really? That be a little odd since they just recently changed unlimited that gives you sometimes fast speeds based on congestion etc. we will see when it comes out tomorrow

$65 Truly Unlimited Plan(hotspot not allowed): $65 without Auto Pay, $55 with Auto Pay.

$50 Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data with 8 Gigs of high speed data + WiFi Hotspot data included: $50 without Auto Pay, $40 with Auto Pay.
