DOJ Sources: TMUS-S Deal less problematic than T-TXE Deal

Sounds like the DOJ is warm to the idea of the approval of the merger.

I'm confident it will most likely pass. Maybe with some concessions

With the overall shape of sprint that prob helps

Won't be a walk in the park but I think it has a pretty good chance at passing also

The existence of Google Fi proves that phones can use both networks right now, meaning customers won't have to wait long or suffer outages for the combined network to exist. While I don't think it would be fair for them to have to tip their hand as to how much service will cost, they can state how they will lower cost and cause a win for the consumer. The vid is interesting because South Korea is way ahead in internet speed as are other countries. If they really can't do this on their own, and since you can run both networks currently on one device, it has a better chance passing now than it did in the past.

I think it's really interesting the "lack" of excitement this M&A is attracting. Perhaps because of the on again and off again nature of previous discussions.

I'm coming around to it, and hope that Legere delivers on his promises. It would be nice if some sort of requirements were worked in akin to like Verizon with their band 13 LTE.

We'll see what's in store... Perhaps they'll shock us all with an un-carrier move!?

The video mentioned unlimited for under $50 a month. If they deliver on that, it would be a game changer. I'm curious about the other services they feel they can offer as well.

TMobile stopped being the uncarrier a long time ago.

They're supposed to announce some new big Uncarrier moves soon per JL.

I hope they can bring back the excitement and do something killer.

Still, they're the lesser of 4 evils. Sprint isn't an option, Never had or will Verizon, AT&T would be my next choice, but they're too fragmented wit h their products.

They create false-hype. There hasn't been a major Uncarrier event in years. I feel the good uncarrier events were around when Simple Choice was the main plans.

Sprint does suck where I live even. There's still many LTE holes. T-Mobile's patched many of them only a few left here. But I don't even believe a word they say. It's all lies as I see it.
