Does Verizon allow you to change the number of rings before voicemail picks up?

Like the title says, I am having an issue because my PP phone (with Verizon voicemail) picks up before 25 seconds passes, which is the threshold that Google Voice voicemail requires before it picks up.

Actually, it is probably right around 25 seconds, because half the time GV voicemail picks up, and the other half my PP phone does. It is really frustrating.

If I could change the number of rings or extend the time before my PP voicemail picks up, this issue would go away.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

If changing number or rings or seconds ringing is not possible, why not just conditional forward to your gv #?

I don't recall the vzw code off hand. It's been discussed before. Search the pageplus subforum.

    Per https://support.google.com/voice/answer/165656?hl=en :

If you're having trouble setting up Google voicemail on your Verizon phone:
1.On your phone, open the Phone app.
2.Call *71[Your Google Voice number]. After you hear the confirmation, hang up.
3.Call *90[Your Google Voice number]. After you hear the confirmation, hang up.
4.Call *92[Your Google Voice number]. After you hear the confirmation, hang up.

This is how I understand those codes:
*71[Your Google Voice number] -- This turns on Conditional Forwarding, which should transfer calls to your Google Voice number when your Verizon phone is busy or unanswered after 3 to 6 rings.
*90[Your Google Voice number] -- This turns on Busy Transfer, which transfers all calls that would hear a busy signal to your Google Voice number.
*92[Your Google Voice number] -- This turns on No Answer Transfer, which transfers all calls unanswered after 3 to 6 rings to your Google Voice number.
