    New SMS scam

    Received via SMS

Message saying: Globalive W management corp:
    For the number778)779-xxxx
    You have received a Transfer
    http://directfundshung.com/globalivewireless/dollars/
    You have received Globalive dollars

    Haha! Can you say SCAM!

Did a WhOIS. Found the following; Whether the registrant/admin/tech is responsible or not, I don't know. Unless someone can prove it, I'm not putting his name into print (though it is easy to find. I'm assuming that 778-779 numbers belong to Freedom.

Interesting (maybe useless) whois information. Domain was created 2018-05-17 (same day that the text messages are being pumped out!). Website registrar is based out of Malaysia. The registrant/admin/tech of the www supposedly lives in Kelowna

Put the name into print. I'd be doing it. I'm in France right now, and I did not get that text message. We can say it's a scam without any doubt.

It really is quite good, all you have to do is enter in your online banking info and they'll take all your money right out of your bank accounts!

If you weren't one to pay attention to the details of your bank's online banking pages, it would be easy to fall for it.
