Thanks zivan but that’s ok. I don’t have an Android device to test with. So unless there’s a similar app on iOS, let’s just disregard this. I thought someone would already have the info without needing to record the network messages.

I'm on AT&T in the US and with ALU equipment my phone will stay on the following bands at:
    BAND 2 -115
    BAND 4 -115
    BAND 5 -121
    BAND 12 -121
    with ALU-NOKIA it's now:
    B2 -121 (BARELY USABLE)
    B4 -121 (BARELY USABLE)
    B5 -121 (STILL USABLE)
    B12 -121 (NON-USABLE)

USUALLY MY PHONE WILL USE UMTS ON B5 UNTIL I GET A -113 READING.

AT&T USES THE FOLLING FREQUENCIES in my area:
    B2: 1940/1860 (20 MHZ, 15 MHZ, AND 10 MHZ)
    B4: 2115/1715 (10 MHZ)
    B5: 882.5/837.5 (5 MHZ)
    B12: 739/709 (10 MHZ)
    B14: 763/793 (10 MHZ)
    B30: 2355/2310 (10 MHZ AND 5 MHZ)
    UMTS:
    B5: 887.2/842.2 (5 MHZ)
    B5: 882.6/837.6 (5 MHZ REFARMING TO LTE)
    MICROCELL UMTS:
    B5: 887.4/842.4 (5 MHZ)

If I'm on Band 4 @ -123 dBm it shows it's looking for another band but doesn't switch bands and the 4G LTE icon still shows data coming and going even though I'm past the normal threshold....
