    Coverage expansion

The coverage map was updated. They are claiming just band 4 LTE refarming.
Would just network twiking improve coverage that much? Like in South Calgary they expanded my a good 8 km...way over previous variable area.

No, it’s just not band 4 refarming:

A Freedom Mobile spokesperson later confirmed to MobileSyrup via email that the network map was updated on June 7th.

The spokesperson stated that the changes reflect “the completion of our Band 4 spectrum roll-out, the addition of new sites in the outskirts of urban areas and equipment upgrades that have enhanced overall network performance.”

Theres two that I personally use:

http://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?...U.kIG2l3682dtc - They post additions in real time from the Freedom mobile Network Updates Page

https://www.ertyu.org/steven_nikkel/cancellsites.html - Updates monthly with information from Industry Canada (or whatever they are called these days)

Both those sites are missing Mission BC, for example, which has been live for a few months at least. Not their fault, providers are very reluctant to update the data due to lack of enforcement (I've filed a complaint and received no response from ISED).

I would encourage everyone to complain to them here (choose Spectrum Management System for the item).
    And mentioned:
    - Months behind in terms of updates for all providers
    - Missing multiple licenses that have been deployed for years (I can get some specific ones, if wanted)
    - Data being "watered down" (for example, Telus now lists "Huawei Antenna" instead of actual model numbers as they are required to do and all other providers do).

Both maps confirm there are three Freedom Mobile towers each within about a ten minute walk from my home while I can't say the same about my workplace. I suppose that's why I'm almost always on LTE at home while dropping to 4G or 3G at work is a common occurrence even though my home is much closer to the perimeter of my city's Freedom Mobile Home Network.
