The limited phone selection and no BYOD is a larger roadblock, though.
    But Spectrum specifies :

Each By the Gig line is charged in advance for the first GB of data per bill cycle. For all By the Gig lines, GBs of data are shared by all By the Gig lines on the account. If the By the Gig lines on the account collectively exceed their sum of charged-in-advance shared data, an additional GB of shared data is automatically provided to the account and will be charged in arrears. A data charge applies to each GB or partial GB of shared data used.
So how do they offer the first 100MB free?
Unlike many TF Inc. Subs in recent weeks, months now a year+ TF Inc. not showing much love to their TF service customers, especially BYOP.

I know what Spectrum says on their main page. We're just telling you that, when going through the checkout process, no monthly price is given; it explicitly states that the first 100MB is free and that talk and text are no extra charge. You seemingly only get charged for the first gigabyte only after you've used 100MB.

I'll see if I can get a screenshot of what we're looking at.

At any rate, one page or the other is mistaken.

At any rate, I'm unable to get an actual monthly price based on a particular amount of data, because the screen won't let me. It just says "based on use", which would seem to imply that they only charge once you actually use data, which would also contradict the rest of the statement that ls61 quoted above.

I don't think Spectrum really knows what they're doing yet....

Thanks for the screenshots. Spectrum will probably get things straightened out eventually.

I'm still hoping for something similar to the $200 rebate on a $200 phone like Xfinity had!

    Maybe soon...

Maybe they will add iphones this fall when Apple launches the new phones, but waiting for BYOD myself.

Took XM about 6 months to add BYOD.
