    Good news.

I see that the Stylo 4 is being offered on multiple carriers, with different specs. The Cricket model has 3GB of RAM versus 2GB on MetroPCS, but the MetroPCS version has NFC and the Cricket version doesn't. Different LTE bands as well.

    LTE Bands
    ---------
    T-Mobile/MetroPCS: LTE 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 12 / 13 / 20 / 38 / 41 / 66 / 71
    Cricket/AT&T: LTE 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 12 / 14 / 20 / 29 / 30 / 38 / 41
    Sprint: LTE 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 12 / 13 / 20 / 25 / 26 / 41
    U.S. Cellular: LTE 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 12 / 13 / 20 / 25 / 26 / 41 / 66

    CDMA
    ----
    T-Mobile/MetroPCS: No
    Cricket/AT&T: No
    Sprint: Yes
    U.S. Cellular: Yes

    NFC
    ---
    T-Mobile/MetroPCS: Yes
    Cricket/AT&T: No
    Sprint: ?
    U.S. Cellular: ?

    RAM
    ---
    T-Mobile/MetroPCS: 2GB
    Cricket/AT&T: 3GB
    Sprint: ?
    U.S. Cellular: ?

So that was the sacrifice for having 3GB of RAM (besides the price tag), no NFC?

Hmm...I have NFC on my S4 but I've never once turned it on.

Somewhat of a trade off, but the net price shifts everything towards the Metro 2gb version. Doubt if we'll ever get the Cricket version for $30.

Supposedly the last day for the port-in sale is tomorrow. I think the idea of the sale was to try and get as many customers as possible before Cricket dropped their better version. Sort of like a head start.

From the spec sheet on Cricket's own website, the only LTE bands for this model are 2/4/5/12/14. Where did you get those specs from?

Personally, I'd take the Supra over this. I was mildly interested in the Stlyo 4 because of the NFC and digitizer, but the truth of the matter is I don't like giant screens and the Stylo is just too darned big (might as well try to fit my Kindle in my pocket... LOL). No NFC, same RAM as the Supra, but it has a lesser battery, larger screen, and honestly I haven't been too impressed with LG's reception and how they handle wifi calls on Cricket (my wife has an LG X Charge and I have a Moto G5+. In our house, my phone holds a call better than hers, and she has Wifi calling! Even if we turn it off, it just doesn't hold the signal as well as moto).
Been gone a long time. Hello, HoFo- I'm BACK.

So it's still capped at 8 megabytes a second?
