The credit card transaction also shows that the merchant’s MCC is “Telecommunication Equipment and Telephone Sales”. Finally, I only buy 2-3 months at a time to minimize any loss in case something goes wrong.
I used to add refills for my brother, didn't need any info other than his phone #. I would actually avoid the eBay sellers who load refills directly. There are eBaysellers who still mail the prepaid cards (not that this determines legitimacy, but at least it's a physical card).

Here is what someone in a T-Mobile thread had to say about that
seller will not give you a pin number but ask for your phone number and refill it for you. These seller may have obtained a list of T-Mobile prepaid pins and they don't know if the cards have been activated or already used. By refilling it for you, they can go over 3-5 pin and get one that works.
I was paying $40+tax for Verizon $40 prepaid cards (CA started charging tax on prepaid cards some time ago), so these discounted cards are tempting.

in case you didn't know california state doesn't tax prepaid anymore only the local cities or towns are taxable some cities doesn't have tax at all in california you can check the california website on which cities don't have taxes for prepaid refill. My city has a tax but the city next to mine about 10-20min don't have taxes at all which is good to buy refills there.

It was metro by tmobile who filed a complaint to California state taxing the prepaid which found out against federal law and immediately stopped the state tax but the locals can tax the prepaid cards.

You beat me by 2 minutes! This code DOES work on Verizon prepaid refills. Plus I had eBucks expiring in 5 days so it worked out well for me.

Edit: Coupon code expires at midnight on 5-2-19.

The only website I could find on the Verizon website to add funds with just a phone number also required you to enter the zip code on your account:

    https://myvprepay.verizonwireless.co.../InstantPay/#/

I tried entering the zip code that I gave the seller as a “shipping” address (which doesn’t match what’s on my Verizon Prepaid account), and I couldn’t get to the next screen, so I still think my seller is a legit reseller that has the ability to add funds directly to an account.

wow verizon prepaid card looks very good deal $25 for $40 refill card. but I am on at&t prepaid which costs $43.50 on ebay and $42.75 on callingmart so not much difference... Callingmart is charging $1 for each purchased as "service fee" what a dumb fee used to be none.

You can buy $40 refill cards for about $24-25. So it's a huge savings every month.

I know, I was asking skyethur the value of cards he/she was getting for ATT cards he posted for the $43.50 like 6 posts up. I know this thread is about Verizon, but I was asking about ATT only in response to that post
