    Telus employee banned me from Telus

    This guy is an absolute jerk. He banned me from Telus because I complained about a Telus rep calling me racist. I said to the agent I could not understand his English because he kept talking over me constantly and had a strong accent. I called Telus to complain and was told I would not receive compensation for this and the manager lady changed my device balance adding $100 without telling me because it was apparantly showing the incorrect balance. Ya sure I totally believe that. Complete BS.

    Well this "director" went back into some of my accounts from TEN years ago and came to the conclusion I had received too many credits. I live in Winnipeg and everyone here knows the service used to be complete ****. They even offered me a full credit for six months of service back then because service was non existent.

    Would this be a good case for the Office of the Privacy commissioner?

    Oh yah and Telus manager told me I had to file legal action to get back on the network again. Would this and the fact they went back into my accounts from a decade ago technically be considered harassment?

    Since you've had service terminated, I'd go public on social media for a fast intervention.

    You can also go the official government route of complaining at the CCTS.

    If you haven't recorded or kept your own logs of everything so far, start now. Their customer support system probably has a recording of the initial call.

    Wasn't there another thread about this back in April? File another complaint with CCTS and go to the media! Telus won't like the bad PR and you might get different treatment from them

    What do you mean “banned you from TELUS”? Forums or their network?

    You called customer support to complain about the agent talking over you or his thick accent?

    Full credit for 6 months isn’t too bad! Better than nothing, in my opinion.


    The agent talking over you and the one who added $100 to your balance (even if incorrect, not your fault nor your problem, I would definitely have an Ombudsman look into that) definitely make for a bad experience.
