For many months I've been running my TM-AC1900 router as a DLNA and Samba file server. It has worked reasonably well, once I realized that USB 3 didn't really work and went with a USB 2 cable. Last week something strange happened. The Samba server just stopped working. The DNLA server still serves up videos, with no problms but I can't add new videos because I can't copy the files to the server. I've rebooted the router, restarted the Samba server, changed USB cables and connected the HD to a PC and checked the file system.
I'm perplexed. Is anyone else using their TM-AC1900 router as a file server. If so, have you had any issues like this?
