just activated a new line last week, changed it to QC number , just passed the first bill cycle, however when I click change my plan , it says 'You can’t change your plan or add-on’s within 14 days of activating or upgrading your phone. Please try again after the 14 day period is over to make this change.'

anyone knows what's going on ? thanks

Try it again after it's been 14 days since activation and see if it works.

has this text always been in the QC plans area:
"Rate plan available for Quebec residents with Quebec area codes only. Subscribers moving to another province will be transferred to an applicable rate plan for that location."

I noticed it today while looking.

    ah, I see. thanks

So, I'm waiting to see if anyone has waited the 14 days yet, and then ported over their number. I just checked the steps and it looks like you can still access the "old website" to select a QC number.... I have a new ON account etc setup today. I can just do this, and wait until the next billing period (7th March) then change the plan to a QC plan ..

I am also curious if the 14 day thing is due to being close to your bill date or something else has changed
Never heard that before so update this thread if you do try

Most likely being too close to the the bill date. (Really hoping) If things had changed, it would just block you. Since the "old website" is still working, then it probably should still be feasible? How did the MB/SK plans get blocked out?
As time has gone one, features on the "old site" have been disabled as they are replaced with the new functions from the new self serve.

The plan stopped showing online even if you had MB/SK number. You had to physically go to a Koodo store in those provinces to get it.

I've tried to help 4 family and friends get this plan since end of Jan and all have had the 14 day issue. I think the loophole is closed now because for 3 of the accounts its been a full month and for the 4th one its been 3 weeks with the same error

Looking at the transaction history its been 14 days since activation, also 14 days since I change to quebec number and also 14 days since new bill cycle. It still gives the error.

    interesting... thanks for the update.

I guess you can recover the accounts if you want to use them by porting in a ON number?
