Xioomi Mi A2 Lite / Freedom network

Hello. I'm just wondering if a 2018 Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite will work with Freedom Mobile? I'm in Europe and my phone is on life support. I'm hoping this phone will work when I get home. Cheers

From Xiaomi website for global version:
    WCDMA B1/2/5/8*
    FDD-LTE B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20

WCDMA B4 (AWS) is not listed, so it won't work on Freedom Mobile's network.

I don't think I've ever seen any Xiaomi phone support band 66, and so none of Xiaomi phone would be fully compatible even with Band 4.

I just checked gsmarena and it says it has aws1700. I wonder if their site is correct.

I have seen too many inaccurate band info from gsmarena, I wouldn't trust it. Try frequencycheck.com instead if you know the exact model.

Most of Xiaomi phone do not support FM frequencies. They either miss 3G Aws or miss some LTE bands (like 7 or 66). My Redmi Note 3 had 3G Aws and some LTE FM bands, but wasn't working great with their amazing network
