I'm going for the Max. More to love.

Would love to get the max, but I think my 6S plus is going to be staying in service for another year.

The iPhone Upgrade Program is worthy of your consideration. I had zero hesitation on swapping my X for a shiny, new XS Max.

So far nobody at work who has an X is interested in an Xs.

I upgraded, but I was coming from iPhone 7, so easy decision there. The iPhone 7 owners got screwed on all the series changes. The trade in values are awful, so I’m selling mine to a co-worker.

I ended up caving and getting the XS Max. The 6.5" screen was gorgeous in the store and too hard to pass up.

    Haha..
I just couldn't help myself laughing at this post.
You seemed sure of yourself on your first post, but you actually went for the XS Max.

I only upgraded because I wanted the Max for bigger screen for viewing spreadsheets and was able to get 90% of my money back from the sale of the X.

That’s because I was referring to the smaller one. I still wouldn’t get that one as an upgrade to the X.

Well, I just did some homework and it seems like that the XS Max is roughly the size of my iPhone 8 Plus...
I was hating on it, but it looks like it really didn't make much of difference... size wise...
    I'm re evaluating it again...

Yep. The phone I had prior to the X was the 8 Plus, so going to the Max wasn’t a big adjustment for me as far as usability in the hand. Reaching the top of the display on the Max requires some readjustment in the hand unless you use Reachability or two-hand it.

My wife has an 8 Plus. My new Xs Max has virtually the same external dimensions, but the screen is so much bigger. Very happy with it so far!

I'll be picking up a used X instead of buying an XS. Just like any of the prior "S" variants, I don't think it's worth the extra $.

Tested the XS for a week and ended up exchanging it for the XS Max.
It feels better now since I'm back to a size that I'm familiar with.
Thank you for the feedback on the XS Max

Just need to wait for eSIM support so I can retire my Samsung Galaxy S8 used for work...
