First, there is no longer band 17 in the Galaxy S10 series because the FCC filing (which only list LTE bands tested for the U.S. market) no longer includes band 17 (it was listed in last year's Galaxy S9 and Note9 series):
    Galaxy S10 FCC doc: https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicat...tml?id=4147988
    Galaxy S9 FCC doc: https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicat...tml?id=3686093

Second, there is an experimental LTE Band 48 that is listed in the same Galaxy S10 FCC doc above, but it does not appear in the inaccurate list by phonearena, gsmarena and bhphotovideo. You can read more about Band 48 here:
    https://www.droid-life.com/2019/01/0...-verizon-cbrs/
    https://9to5google.com/2019/01/03/go...-cbrs-support/

The non-US LTE bands in my list is based on a combination of the active non-US LTE bands listed the carrier versions of the Galaxy S10:
    T-Mobile Galaxy S10: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-39489
    AT&T Galaxy S10: https://www.att.com/buy/phones/samsu...ism-black.html
    Verizon Galaxy S10: https://www.verizonwireless.com/smar...ng-galaxy-s10/

From https://www.howardforums.com/showthr...7#post17068157, it appears that Pixel 3 is an exception.

Just released a few days ago by Google:

    **Google Pixel 3a (Model G020C), Pixel 3a XL (Model G020G) - LTE Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 17, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 38, 40, 41, 66, 71

These are the unlocked models. There are also the Verizon models (G020A/G020E), but these lacks AT&T bands 14, 29 and 30 and T-Mobile band 71.

Universal, Unlocked Phones That Work On AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon With Dual SIM

As posted above, what are my current choices for a universal, unlocked smartphone, that will work an AT&T and Verizon, that has dual SIM card slots?

I'd just check this website for a list of universal unlocked phones. Seems to be updated pretty often

Thanks for the shout-out! I'm behind that list, and I'm aiming to keep it up-to-date. If there's ever a device that's not listed & clearly qualifies, please shoot me a DM!

    ChristianSmith,

Nice job. Keep up the good work!

Do YOU happen to know if there are any universal, unlocked smartphones, that will work an AT&T and Verizon, that has dual SIM card slots? Right now it looks like the Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR are Dual SIM, Dual Standby devices and there are NONE designed to the United States market, but hopefully that will change in the future.

    @ChristianSmith

    >Support for LTE bands 2, 4, 12, 13, 25, 41, and 71
    >Support for UMTS at 850 and 1900 Mhz (bands 2 and 5),
    >Support for CDMA at 850 and 1900 Mhz (BC0, BC1, and BC10)
    >Whitelisting from Sprint (check IMEI numbers here)[1]
    >Expected VoLTE support on Verizon[2]

    Your criteria don't make sense.

. B71 won't be fully available until end of 2020, and it will take longer than that to build out. Only flagships and 2 Motos have it, as per your list. This excludes a host of other phones which are actually more fully "universal" than your "nearly" list. To wit: most other Motos.

. A phone w/ Sprint whitelist would automatically have B25/26/41. Your channel support listing is redundant, and you're missing B26 anyway.

. Most people would consider VZW certification (aka whitelist) to be more important than Sprint, especially as Sprint may not be around for much longer. I don't get the 'expected VoLTE support on VZW' which requires VZW cert anyway. Why not just say VZW cert?

. Ditto CDMA. Verizon no longer needs it, and again, Sprint isn't long for this world.

. You're missing OpenPlus 6T and 7 Pro, which have VZW cert. They're also the only physical dual-SIM phones available (in US) w/ said VZW cert. We'll leave out eSIM for now.

Really, VZW cert is the only real qualification for "nearly universal," given that most unlocked phones are "GSM" compatible, and we'll ignore Sprint. So, simpler to say that any unlocked phone w/ VZW cert is qualified for consideration. Cuts down on the tech gobbledygook.

Are there other devices that are universal, unlocked, too? For example, the Skyroam Solis is a hotspot. Would it be considered a universal, unlocked hotspot device?

The Unihertz Atom meets these criteria but I doubt you would want to use it due to its size.

Band 17, in US, is just a part of the Band 12, now using MFBI. No need for any handset to "support" 17, if they cover 12.
    AT&T transition to that since 2017: https://www.fiercewireless.com/wirel...y-700-mhz-band

Band 17 was just a concession made by FCC to AT&T.

No. You can't take it to another provider.

    >best buy has a nice list of dual sim unlocked phones

Most dual-SIM phones can't be used on VZW (or Sprint).

I was intrigued by the listing of the Motorola One. Pretty ugly w/ mediocre specs. Looked up the specs for the US model, and WTF... 4G: LTE band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/28. How is this a US model?

It is "Unlocked for GSM carriers". That means just 2 out of 4 US carriers.

If you buy from Verizon, it's locked.

If you buy it unlocked from say, Amazon, it's not certified for VZW. It will work, but only with the SIM-swap shtick.
