    mmWave is live on another Verizon macro site. This one is at the north end of Rochester, MI at Rochester road and Tienken. Not the greatest I've seen but it was activated within the last week so they will probably still be optimizing it. Funny they would put mmWave on this site when LAA/CBRS would have served just as well.

    My guess is the mmW on macros is so they can offer home broadband. It makes no sense for handsets moving down the freeway at 65 MPH.

    It doesn't. But they are adding CBRS equipment to a bunch of macros here. So far I've found 4 that's live. It would make more sense to me for them to add that rather than mmWave because there's a bunch of stores around for the most part and not a lot of homes.

    By my job they deployed mmW/CBRS serving route 1-9 which is a busy highway. One sector facing the airport just has mmW and no CBRS to cover one of the parking lots before the runway . Bizarre ...
