Koodo says my SIN has been blocked from sign up, ran a credit check anyways

Long story short I was banned from signing up on Telus because I asked for "too many credits" which is not true. I tried to sign up on Koodo, a completely different brand, but they said my SIN was blocked. However they ran a credit check anyways. What's the best course of action to take here?

I have not followed this saga before. What does asking for too many credits mean? If they keep giving them away, what is wrong with asking?

The poster shows up every couple of months
Never gave us an answer as to what he did to get banned from Telus
Just posting they will not let him back
The situation is fishy but either way it was a long time ago
    Time to move on
