Has anyone who has complained about Navy Pier went there with an LAA capable phone?

    Yes I have one
Two great smartphone apps to find cell towers and map actual coverage areas
    1. Cellmapper
    2. OpenSignal
If You're With AT&T Wireless as your Cell Provider, Use the "AT&T Mark The Spot App" to report an issues with your service, like, no connection, slow speeds, no coverage, drop calls...etc

iPhone XS Max, Pixel 3XL, Galaxy S9... yup

AT&T just sucks on the pier anytime there's remotely a crowd.

AT&T LTE at Chicago Navy Pier

Do a search for city issued permits. Currently Shows fiber optic cable installation around navy pier
Don’t know if that has anything to do with the cell towers upgrade

Or even b46, as a previous poster stated isn’t there yet.

Or CBRS. T has been fairly quiet in regards to using that spectrum which would make more sense to deploy vs LAA. B46 is very sparce here in my state. I believe it is only deployed in downtown Detroit afaik.

Yes they need to add mmWave at navy pier along the whole stretch of the exterior of the building from the front entrance all the way thru where grand ballroom is located at
And by Polkbros Park is To be beneficial

Well, in reality that will not be super helpful for a few years.

I'd rather them get LTE-A up and going, and CBRS FIRST then worry about adding mmWave later when 5G actually matters. There are things that can be done *today* and that's what T needs to be doing.
