Absolutely. They used to be funny. I don’t hear any humor anymore in it.

That’s because it’s their political agenda thinly veiled as comedy

Actually I have five lines with cricket and my phone did not receive the alert which is a cricket ZTE Grand 4x. Other family members who have motorola phones did get the alert. Had a friend with me who was on straight talk and he got the alert but it went off his screen before he could read it.

I have an AT&T Pantech 7040 Link. Can I get it added to the Cricket 2.99 Decade Promo? If so do you have the APN settings and do I need flash the firmware?

    Just kidding...

Agree with too much political agenda on the skit...but the comedy idea did cross my mind when the alert came through .
The scenes could have been done in a more neutral way...sort like the SNL skit when Mexico paid Trump for the wall and Melania turned the whitehouse into a resort.

But that’s the whole idea of tweeting is to sidestep the media....

My GS8 didn't receive it either. My work iPhone on AT&T did.

My Huawei Mate SE on Cricket and my IPhone 6s on AT&T received the alert at exactly the same time 14:18 Eastern.

SNL has always been hit and miss. I actually thought the Cricket skit was pretty funny. Of course, you have to think that everything is lampoonable, and nothing is off-limits. Sometimes it's great and sometimes it isn't, and who thinks what often varies. Who the guest host is often has a huge influence on the results. I dread some episodes based on the host, and often FF through most of certain shows.

FWIW: Both iPhones on my Cricket account got the alert.

Not knocking att but they are known as being hard to deal with
It does not help when Cricket Wireless sucks balls even while on the AT&T Network.

Seriously, can anyone actually calculate the value of this much publicity? So there is a cell phone issue, like this is the only issue to ever occur. Get real. The demographics of this audience is beyond perfect for any cellular carrier, in sort of a parity of they old vzw" can you hear me now commercial". But this one didn't cost att a penny.

Att/cricket should quickly figure how to parlay this into even more publicity, i.e., is you're given lemons, make lemonade.

For most cast members on SNL, high school was the best 7 years of their lives and their peak level of comedic talent.

I think an exact time of the test alert should be given. I had one phone when I got an alert I almost ran off the road. Same reason I stopped using Back in Black as a ringtone.
As a US citizen I have the right to criticize my government. My thanks for this is endless in magnitude.

Fascism is here led by a hypersensitive psychopathic dictator having complete power, obsessively suppressing criticism, regimenting industry & commerce. Emboldening racism & aggressive nationalism.

I'd been hearing about the alert and reading about it for a few weeks before it happened.

I'd even set out all of my active phones to see what was going to happen.

Every single one of them with the exception of my Truphone went off at the same time.

The Truphone went off a half hour late.

They did give almost a 2 month notice. It was originally planned for Sept 20th but got delayed because of Hurricane Florence.
