Question Is Amazon Prime a one year deal?

I saw the following information on https://www.metropcs.com/AmazonPrimeOnUs:

Amazon Prime Offer:You must redeem your Amazon Prime membership code and agree to the Amazon Prime Terms to qualify for Amazon Prime membership by 12/31/19. Your Amazon Prime membership automatically renews for the membership fee in effect at the time of renewal plus applicable taxes.
Does anyone know if this Amazon Prime promo deal is for one year only?
Or will MetroPCS send redeem codes for Amazon Prime to customers every 12 months for as long as they are on the $60 plan ?

There is no mention on the main MetroPCS shop plan page https://www.metropcs.com/shop/plans that Prime membership is only for one year or 12 months.

But the disclaimer on PrimeOnUs page regarding Prime membership auto renewal suggests that the promo deal is for one year only. And subsequent Prime renewal will be a separate charge (plus applicable tax) to the customers.

This looks to be an older promo that is not linked to the current $60 unlimited LTE plan. If you look at the FAQ for included plan features you'll see this:

"How do I get Amazon Prime from Metro™ by T-Mobile? You must sign up for Metro’s new $60 Unlimited rate plan. Upon activation of your new rate plan, Metro will send you a text where you will be redirected to Amazon to create your Amazon account and activate the Prime membership. If you no longer have the text and need to register, go here.

How long do I get access to Amazon Prime? As long as you are on the new $60 unlimited rate plan with Metro™ by T-Mobile, they are covering your access to Prime and you do not need to pay anything additional for your Prime membership."

I thought it’d be as long as you have your plan
