    Getting unlock codes from eBay

How do you get unlock codes from certain companies like Simple Mobile or Consumer Cellular? The eBay sellers don't give the choice on these other companies when they ask what carrier they come from. Anyone know? Thanks.

Their prepaid companies. Most all those come from their perspective company after the requirements are fulfilled

Send them a message. Most websites show simple mobile under carrier for unlocking.

Yeah if you go that route. I don't wait for prepaid T-Mobile, AT&T or Metro you give them up. I use an eBay seller as soon as I get the phone.

If the unlock codes come from the manufacturer I wonder why for instance I can get a $2 zte/lg unlock code for a cricket phone but the same phone branded on TracFone net10 straight talk GSM I don't see them, how does TracFone lock their phones down so tight and why don't other carriers do this?

It costs a lot of money for Slime/TF to have his phones HARDWARE locked. Other companies don't want to spend the money & or are concerned about Federal regulations in the US. Slime truly doesn't give a **** & is openly defiant. Slimes companies have been obstructionist at best when it comes to complying with judgements against them.

Disclaimer: The above is to the best of my recollection & may not align with recognized facts. ** Slime.
As a US citizen I have the right to criticize my government. My thanks for this is endless in magnitude.

Fascism is here led by a hypersensitive psychopathic dictator having complete power, obsessively suppressing criticism, regimenting industry & commerce. Emboldening racism & aggressive nationalism.
