    Mint mobile 3 month/ 5 gig plan..$20

Normally $60.. Unlimited talk/text/1st 5 gigs LTE x 3 months, TMobile mvno, they do have WiFi calling and volte if your handset is capable.. Seems like a solid deal, amazing how cheap service has gotten.

My cell phone Mentor told me about this earlier.

I'm having a really hard time not grabbing this deal.

It would be perfect for one of my other phones.

Thanks for posting about this deal.
I'm sure that a lot of people would love to get in on this deal.

Some reason my link didn't post, but it's on mint's website, I'm very tempted as long as I can wait to activate it, like February 1st... Not sure how their activation works.

I tried this very plan last year, worked fine, unfortunately I wasted it (I tend to accumulate to much airtime) , only used it for a few days but it worked just like my simple mobile plan .

I tend to have the same problem.

I have way too many active lines.

I so wish I needed it, $20 for 3 months with a decent amount of data is very tempting. If I knew I'd utilize it is he all over it. I bought a 3 month FreedomPop sim 2 months ago and have only used 20 mb's of data and no talk/text!

In don't think you can technically "stack" anything on mint, you'd have to wait 90 days to activate the next one I think, and of course you'd get a new number, BUT in have no idea how long you have to activate, seems like people were asking this last year and there was never a clear answer, maybe it depends how you buy it, directly from mint, or best buy?

Best buy has had them for awhile, but they don't appear to be on sale right now, I did get one last year, can't remember when (Black Friday, Xmas) but the same plan was free with any unlocked phone. Ended up buying a $20 blu phone.

Yes I definitely know what you mean.

I don't need it and I'm sure it would end up being wasted.

    It is soooo tempting.

Mint's website specifically says must activate within 45 days of purchase, limit of 4 per order.

My daughter has been using this for 2 months now at UCLA. Works just fine for her, and I need to renew it or do something else (she could get by with less data) when she comes home for Christmas. She has Google Voice...how would they spot a "new activation"?

I think a new number qualifies as a new Activation.. But don't quote me. I don't know if they go as far as credit card numbers/addresses.. Seems unlikely..

So this is for 3 months of service for $20 TOTAL? I may try this. Is this on Sprint? Is the coverage still terrible in rural areas or has Sprint gotten better? I had Sprint a decade ago but had to switch to Verizon for better coverage, don't know if that is still the case now.
