Is there any difference between attnextgen apn and freeup apn for the free plan? My phone auto picked attnextgen. At one particular place, freeup had no signal and my other ATT sim in the same phone had good native signal. Restarting fixed the issue though. I am not sure if it was some issue with Sim slot, apn or plan type. Any guess on what could be the issue?

They include "free WiFi" the same way they also include "free oxygen" to breathe while using their service.

They don't provide any WiFi- they mean since you get no cellular data in the free plan, you need (someone else's) free WiFi to use data.

Here is the link from their FAQ, but it didn't work when I tried it. You might query Customer Service.

It appears that Freeup has removed the 250 talk or text free plan.

I don't see it either. I am glad I signed up just a week ago.

Hey, it was nice while it lasted. Still got my 1K plan. I appreciate it for the 30-60 minutes I actually use a month.

I have one 500/500 TT 100MB SIM and wish I had gotten another for my grandmother. She never touches those numbers in a month. Guess she stays on Tracfone for now.

Dumb question. I brought a sim card a long time ago when it was $2 with the 500/500 talk/text with 100mb plan but I was too lazy to activate it. Can it be activated with that plan now? TIA.

Does it still show up on your account as waiting for activation?

I already had one 1000min account. Six months ago I ordered for another 1000 min plan sim on the same account. Got the Sim but never activated it. For six months my account showed the second 1000 min line waiting to be activated. Just for the hell of it, last month I decided to try activating it to see if it would still go through. Sure enough, it activated and I got 1000 min plan even though they stopped offering the plan. On the same login I have two free 1000 minute plans.

I still have 4 of the 1000 either/or plans. I wonder how long they will be active. I'm sure FreeUp will eventually do something.

If done 'right', FreeUp would have no clue that all 4 plans belong to the same person.

Post moved to new thread to avoid hijacking this one. I apologize if my previous post did not follow the correct procedure.

Does anyone know how to change the credit card on file? I am unable to replace the existing one or add a new one.

In the account summary, manage payments near the bottom left.

It let me add another card, but no option to delete existing. Good thing for virtual numbers with $1 limits.
