    Is Verizon Prepaid reliable?

Some times when I receive calls with MetroPCS, my phone doesn't ring and I only know that I received a call if they leave me a voicemail. I'm considering switching to Verizon Prepaid but am afraid I may encounter the same issue. What has your experience been like with Verizon Prepaid. Thanks.

Same as postpaid, in my experience. I’ve been a customer for well over a year.

I’ve had the same trouble with no calls ringing on postpaid TMO too.

I've heard already about this issue but I haven't experienced it by myself.

Call quality and reliability are reliable. Slow data speeds due to deprioritization (at least in my area) is equally reliable.

My experience on Verizon prepaid in the DC area has been identical to my experience on Verizon postpaid in the DC area. I've not had any phone call issues.
Of course it really depends on the area you are located in. Since it can be different from city to city and area to area.

I have Verizon prepaid for years, no problem getting the calls. I put my phone in silent mode, it always vibrates when a call come in.

Been on Verizon prepaid for years with little to no issues that I can think of. But I live in Nebraska where Verizon is about your only reliable network outside of the big cities or once you jump off the interstate like I do for my job.

I've been using Page Plus for 4 years.
LG flip phone. Very few places in my travels (TX & LA) with no bars. May have missed a call when inside an elevator,
Has been more reliable than the other 5 phones in the household on ATT & Tmo.
Don't waste your money on VZ prepaid. PP: 6c/min.

I never had a problem with a flip phone! When researching my issue, a person said
I disabled the VoLTE calls setting, but still had intermittent problems with calls going straight to vm, so I changed the Network mode to 3G/2G (auto connect) without LTE and then all calls would ring through. (I tested calling from a landline phone.)
. So far that is working for me but if the issue happens again, I am considering Verizon prepaid, page plus (Will have to check it out since dfriz recommended it), or maybe Net10. So many carriers out there...

Not sure if what I'm experiencing is because I brought an unlocked T-mobile phone to Metro (They said my phone was "partially compatible") or if it's an Android thing. I'm thinking my next phone will be an iphone (Never used one).

You have to try it. I know that in some areas you will get deprioritized. It seems in rural areas with expensive roaming agreements they will slow you down. It all depends on your geographical usage patterns. Also who knows if postpaid is getting slowed down in those areas? I don’t.
