    Leaving Verizon

I'm leaving Verizon and going to Mint Mobile, simply a financial savings, am I crazy???
Make a bet every day, because you might walk around lucky and not know it.

If the coverage of Tmo in your area works, then no.

Mint uses T-Mobile cells. How well does T-Mo work where you need a cellphone to work? It doesn't work worth a hoot where I live.

Nothing wrong with cost saving. I use Verizon with Tracfone. With my low usage it costs me about $5 a month.

Yes, make sure T-Mobile works well where you live, work & play before pulling the plug on Verizon

Wow!! That is crazy expensive. I dumped my GuDP a few years ago when it reached $95 a month after taxes. And I was so glad I did.
Since I pay so much less with Verizon unlimited prepaid. With the auto pay $5 discount and discounted refill pins, My Unlimited Verizon Prepaid costs me under $40 a month.
And my Verizon prepaid experience has been identical to my Verizon post paid experience.

I had no idea it was still possible to spend that much on a single line of service! Verizon Prepaid unlimited is $65.
How much data do you actually use? Total Wireless has a new $50 plan that includes 15 GB data.

One line, $145 a month, beyond unlimited. Price includes $40 a month for phone (Note 9), and insurance for $14 a month.

    I use about 25-30 gb a month

I left Verizon for mvno's a long time ago. Much cheaper, BUT I've always stuck with Verizon as a network. T-Mobile is fine if your in a good area but less so if you travel a lot or in a rural location. I always go back to Verizon's network as it's rock solid everywhere I've been. But at&t is also a safe bet. I'm not talking network speeds, but cell reception an coverage areas.

Wow! I had not seen that new Total Wireless plan, that's a really good deal for Verizon service.

Left VZW a couple years ago after about 10 years and loving Red Pocket! Only reason I didn't leave earlier was because I was using the dumb phone/smart phone swap loophole to get almost free service. Without that, I'd left long ago.

    Leaving Verizon

Just paid $26.88 with Verizon Prepaid for my new billing cycle for 8 GB of data. Can’t really beat that if someone needs a good amount of data.

    2 discounted refills from eBay: $53.76 (2x $40 refills)

Monthly total for 2 devices is $75

So I end up having $5 extra every month. It’ll eventually accumulate to the point where I’ll get a month covered without a refill.

2 lines: 8 GB each. Auto pay and multi-line discounts applied.

This. And do not switch to T-Mobile in hopes that service will eventually improve. Been there, done that and was very disappointed.

Before I switched to Verizon from ATT, I tried TMobile and service was spotty in my area. I couldn't get it at my house so I went with Verizon instead.
