AT&T upping the data and "throttle" speed on Mobile Share Advantage

This is a good thing for consumers. AT&T is upping the data bucket and increasing the throttling speed to 3mbps. Better late than never I guess. I honestly probably would've stayed on MSA if the throttle speed had always been 3mbps. (Instead of going to unlimited) especially since I would be able to use my discount.

Is this effective on other MSA plans?

Doesn't look like it's for every plan yet. Hopefully they bring the 3mbps speed to all MSA plans soon

I'm a little confused by this. They're only charging $60 for 65 gigs? What!

128 Kbps to 3 Mbps is an awesome upgrade!

Read under, "See all important details." This is a targeted offer to two MSA plans to select customers. So, not everyone will get upgraded. What is interesting are the prices listed for the two tiers. I don't remember 32GB being $40 and 50GB $60. According to this, https://about.att.com/story/att_intr...advantage.html those were the 3GB and 6GB prices. I would love if 3 Mbps were the throttle speed on all tiered plans.

Well that leaves my retention 12Gb plan out. Still a good deal though.

Neat, when I asked about 12GB MSA they noted only 6GB available.

I'd gladly switch to either plan if that was an option. With my 25% off discount, it would be significantly cheaper than Unlimited. I can live with 3mbps and only use 50-60gb a month anyways.

Once I take into account of possible $450 subsidies on my current unlimited plan though...that probably would swing back a bit.

Yeah honestly the only reason I'm not switching to that new 65 gig plan is because I have a couple of unlimited hotspots on unlimited plus. I like not having to worry about how much I use my portable hotspots when I travel and I'm still getting that $25 directv discount too. So I'm kind of stuck even tho 3mbps is still pretty usable for one device

Oh really? I would call back and try a different rep?
