    I do remember that. I actually still have my E71 although I have no idea why I'm keeping it because it's pretty much useless. I haven't been able to bring myself to throw it away for some reason.

    The E71 was the beginning of AT&T Smartphones. Before that there was that single Verizon Smartphone at the beginning that was only sold for a short time. What was that touchscreen companion to the E71 that never gained a following?

    I remember this was the loophole to get any AT&T smartphone to work on Straight Talk before they started selling the SIM's. This was also before they got sued for cutting people who used over 2GB's of data off with their super secret soft data cap.

    The other Nokia was the 6790, also called the Surge. The first CDMA smartphone was the Galaxy Precedent, which ran on Sprint. The top of the line Verizon phone at that time was a version of the Omnia, and was 3G only.
