My Autopay somehow screwed up, as I had mentioned above. Somehow it disappeared completely. Customer service wasn't any help, and couldn't explain what happened.

Last time the promotion ran, some existing lines were able to get the $20 discount by turning off Autopay and then turning it back on. I tried this, and it still would only give me a $10 discount. So I will consider porting out, and porting back. It's a pain, but worth it in the long run. Unless anyone else knows some tricks to get it back.

    Cheers,
    SD.

I signed up just a few days ago and would be interested if there are any tricks for the $20 promo also.

Thinking to port out and port back in for this promo. I’m a main account holder in a multi line account. What happens if I port out? Do other lines stay intact?

I'm concerned about the Port Out / Port In strategy we have been discussing. In my experience something always gets messed up when porting. Porting out and back in a short amount of time just seems to be asking for trouble. Plus I have also seen mention that porting back within X number of days is not considered a new activation. Could be a pile of work without any guarantee of success.

What happens if you change away from the $65/$85 plan (ie. to the 25c per minute or $2 daily play), and then switch back to $65/$85, and try to re-enable AutoPay? Has anyone tried this? Last time people on different plans reported success when changing to $65/$85, and then enabling AutoPay. So might be worth a try.

    Cheers,
    SD.
