Get the netgear MBR1100 it will give you the fastest speeds and be the most future proof. You will need to get a puk code from AT&T for your sim before you move it to another device .

This is great news for a great deal. This is not offered at the AT&T website, in stores, or via the normal AT&T phone support. Read the article for how to get it at:

    https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/att...mail-campaign/

It's a limited time offer. I don't expect it to last long.

Best is relative. You will have to buy a Mobley with the offer to get started. The Mobley plugs in the OBD port of a vehicle for power. There are adapter cables to power it outside a vehicle.

The Mobley itself is an ok hotspot device. It only has a couple of LTE bands and does not do carrier aggregation, but has always been adequate for my needs. The fastest I have seen was 28 Mbps. It only takes 3 Mbps to stream Amazon Prime video or Netflix.

I picked up a refurbed ZTE Velocity off eBay a few months ago for $30. It has been as good as new and works fine. The MBR or Nighthawk are more advanced units with the possibility of higher speeds, but cost a lot more.

Get the PUK codes from AT&T for the Mobley SIM from AT&T phone or chat support. If you run the Mobley with the SIM in it, it will put an unknown PIN on the SIM. It takes the PUK code to remove/reset the unknown SIM PIN to one you know so you can use it in an alternate hotspot device.

The Mobley has a 5 user limit on its Wifi. The Velocity is 10.

I still have the ZTE Mobley OBD II device when I activated my current line. I have since moved that SIM card to a Netgar Unite Explore AC815S. I am not sure if I will have to buy another ZTE Mobley to get another line of service or if they will allow me to activate another line on my old Mobley.

I called three times tonight to try and get the plan. I kept getting put on hold, transferred while on hold, and then they wanted to transfer me to the connected car department. I will try again on the morning.

I was able to get another line with just 2 phone calls. Pretty excited to have another unlimited data line at about $23-24 per month.

5 time was a charm. I have my main line in firstnet. This will be nice to carry around or swap my home internet into for a month or two so I can get better pricing from Comcast.

I called once and the representative gave me the plan right away. The Mobley was free with a 24 month agreement and no activation or other fees.

With this additional line, I now have 4 $20 Mobley plans on my account. What a great deal for unlimited data.
