I have a question where I think I already know the answer :-)

I have $85 in rollover credit with h2o. I want to try the free BYOD plan on Sprint. The problem is I don't know how good Sprint is in my primary location. It was bad 15 years ago but may have improved. The question is whether there's some trick I can play to keep my $85 h2o credit alive even after porting out, in case I want to come back. I'm sure the answer is "no" but maybe there's a magician on the board who has a trick up their sleeve. The phone number itself isn't important, and I wouldn't mind losing it, but I do need a number to port in to Sprint (can't be a new number).

You can buy an active TM # to port on eBay for $5.
As a USA citizen I have the right to criticize my government. My thanks for this is endless in magnitude.

Fascism is here led by a racist, hypersensitive, crass, immoral psychopathic traitor, narcissist liar committing High Treason against the USA.

Or you can create a google voice number and then port it into sprint for $3. I just did this last week for the free year to test it out.

Thanks to everyone. I did the Google Voice number and paid the $3 to port it out. I'll keep the H2O sim card alive in case Sprint turns out to be crap at my primary location. It was bad several years ago but maybe things have improved.
