AT&T Netgear Unite Explore AC815S Connector

I have an AT&T Netgear Unite Explore AC815S. What is the connector next to the micro USB port? The power cable that came with mind simply had a plain micro USB port. Was something else planned for this that was never implemented?

    That's the USB 3.0 micro B port, without the additional 5 pins it's just a 2.0.
You can find plenty of cables with the extra 5 pins on Amazon but I doubt that will make a significant difference for charging.

I just use a USB 2.0 cable for mine.
