I'm seeing over 100 Mbps down while roaming on Rogers in Canada. No problem here at all.

    Cheers,
    SD.

Given my current rural location, I’m more than happy with the speeds. I’ll be a happy camper as long as they don’t drop it to 2G speeds.

Wow, good to hear that you’re not experiencing any slowdown in Canada.

It appears that no one has experienced any throttling yet? I am headed to Canada for a week at the end of the month and am still waffling about sticking with ATT vs ditching them for TMobile prepaid who does not throttle in Canada.

Has anyone experienced 2G speed yet? Or just business as usual?

You should be fine, my experience has been the same in Mexico. The areas that i frequent roam on other carriers, and it’s business as usual.

Noticed my phone having a hard time loading and decided to take a couple of speed tests. I’m roaming on Telcel in Mexico and it looks like I’m being slowed down to 2G speeds. About a month ago, everything was golden and had no issues whatsoever. The summary screenshot shows my last three tests while here. Looks like AT&T finally implemented their “my be reduced to 2G speeds”.

Thanks for sharing. How are the speeds on AT&T MX for you?

Just curious, how was your experience if you stuck with AT&T Prepaid and where did you go?

The last time I was on it, it was pretty decent. I’ll share some tests whenever I’m in AT&T MX coverage area.

Just got back from Ontario. Used AT&T $50 prepaid plan. Speeds were fine. Pic attached, 8/3/19 is in Windsor, 8/5/19 is Niagara Falls, ON, 8/6/19 is downtown Toronto. My phone connected to Rogers as soon as we crossed the border and it worked the whole time without issue. Hotspot worked as well. My son had T-Mobile which was supposed to have 5 GB LTE data in Canada and he had a lot more issues than I did and he had to hotspot off my phone a number of times. He was connected to Bell, later tried Telus but I don't think he got that to work.
