    Sprint Open World

So, I swapped away from Sprint for a bit but now have one of those Kickstart plans to play around with.

I had OpenWorld, and it worked perfectly for me as I do 2-3 weeks over in Europe on a regular basis, and would just pre-cache google maps on WiFi, and wait to do media intensive things on WiFi.

Doing that, i'd spend maybe $10-15 per 14-21 day trip, and would have access to full speed HSPA data when I needed it, and other than streaming "new" spotify I didn't miss much when out/about.

Is there anyway to get them to add it to a kickstart plan, or is it just gone for good (i assume so) but just want to know if the code is possibly still available per request.

https://www.sprint.com/en/support/so...pen-world.html doesn’t look good. If someone figures out how to do it, please let us know.

KickStart includes Global Roaming which is the replacement for the older plan you mention.

I know what the "replacement" is but it's not worth it at $5/day for me to end up using 500-700MB in 14-21 days. I'll get around to calling tomorrow and asking if i can swap global roaming options

You can ask, but the answer will be no in my opinion. The offer is what the offer is. Global Roaming is a standard part of the plan.

Open World is no longer offered, as has been noted.

It's not the end of the world. Sprint is never going to be my daily driver as the LTE is just too inconsistent for that, i just had an old SWAC plan that had gotten messed up and put on a $60 plan so I let it go.

T-Mo would probably better for global roaming.

Not really, the 256k is "fine" but it tends to lag out later in the day (I assume as it's tunneling back to the US, it gets congested)

and i'm not a fan of their current world packages. If the $50 plan was more than 15GB i'd probably bite.
