I just activated a unlocked Galaxy S10+ and calls/texts work, but data doesn't work.

I activated it with the Tracfone BYOP sim card kit (AT&T version) and transferred my number and minutes from my Tracfone-branded ZTE Max Duo.

I get 3 bars, but no 4G or LTE symbol.

Here is the default APN (it cannot be edited):

Yes I've restarted it multiple times.

I think I'll just switch back to the old phone and just return the new one.

That's the ticket. Return the $800 - 1000 flagship and stick with a low budget phone.

Odd though. I haven't seen such problems with AT&T side.

Wow, that sucks. I have a Note 9, also unlocked, recently activated on a TF AT&T sim. I checked my APN settings and they're exactly the same as your first example. I've had no problems with data, I get LTE at decent speeds.

I did use a recently purchased sim kit. I had an older one, from 3 years ago, but wasn't sure if sim cards "expire", so I bought a new kit for the new phone.

Sent from my SM-N960U1 using HoFo mobile app

I can confirm that the settings listed above for "PRODATA" worked for me today. I am using an AT&T Tracfone sim in an old beat up ZTE Zmax rocking Android 5.1 lol!

My Phoenix 2 on TF-AT&T APN is reseller with two differences from what you listed for reseller.

    Authentication type: PAP

    APN type: default;mms;supl;hipri

If you can't edit the existing APN, try creating a new one.
