Is Red Pocket's 3GB Ebay Verizon plan gone?

RP's 5GB plan can't be used for Verizon, only the other carriers. I seem to remember they used to have a yearly plan UTNT/3GB for around $20 that included Verizon but I don't see it anymore.

Is there a comparable deal out there that offers UTNT and 3 or more GB on Verizon?

Correct. Of RP on eBay 19 items for sale that is not there.
As a USA citizen I have the right to criticize my government. My thanks for this is endless in magnitude.

Agreed. Sometimes products or services deserve bad reviews. This RP plan is NOT one of them, and the 3.7/5 rating is caused by stupid reviewers.

    You're welcome.

I actually don't remember if a RP 3GB LTE plan that included the Vzw network was offered via eBay, but it's hard for me to remember every detail of the multiple RP offers and specials.

Is it possible that the RP 3GB LTE plan via eBay that you mentioned was some kind of limited time special offer where the 2GB plan included an extra 1GB per cycle if you signed up during the special offer period?

Anyway, hopefully the https://amzn.com/B01D50H1L2 RP plan I mentioned will work for your needs!

The 3gb plan that included VZ was never offered on eBay. It was only offered on Amazon.

I read a number of the one star reviews. Wonder why all the negatives though. Maybe folks are trying to activate with non volte device? But even so that's still permitted (at least until next month iirc?). Could it be that these devices are currently active on vzw services elsewhere. One reviewer from 12/2/2018 had this to say. Suggests something to do with the network mode - settings are usually limited in the settings menu, *#*#4636#*#* usually locked out.

***DOESN'T WORK IN my UNLOCKED brand new Galaxy S9+. Customer Service is worthless w/ their emails.
-------BOOM RED works but I wanted a better data plan. BOOM Mobile has a HARD data limits.
I'm trying other pre-paid service providers.

***RED POCKET Customer Service REFUSED to send me a new sim.

    ***THEY WON'T REFUND YOUR $.

I went online and found out the majority of people w/ unlocked new s8/s9/note or newer I-Phones find the Red Pocket SIM WILL NOT WORK.

There is a way to TRICK your phone & it is a pain.
---you must put old/ dead sim into your phone that WORKS on Verizon
    ---re-power phone,
---then hit power button & choose to put your phone into EMERGENCY MODE
    ---remove your old sim
---put in the Red Pocket Sim
    ---turn off emergency mode
---DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR PHONE EVER unless you want to go through the above grief again!

These 1starers are stupid. I bet within 60 seconds every one of them were yelling at RP CSR. They need their hands held & a lesson in manners.

Haven't the newer Samsung (S8 and newer) phones had issues working on Verizon MVNOs except perhaps the TracFone empire ones? That could be the source of some of the negativity.

My experience with an S9 was 'no go' with regards to Verizon. Fortunately the RP option I had also included AT&T so I just changed the underlying carrier.

When researching the problem, i found many with the same issue with regards to S9 and Verizon MVNOs

Yeah. I had RP VZ for a few years and was fairly happy. The newer firmware on Samsung phones and others prevents them from working on Red Pocket. I had a Galaxy S7, a Motorola G5 plus and a Galaxy S9+. All 3 stopped working on Red Pocket after updating firmware. RP support was no help.

These s7/s9 had the vzw firmware or universal or something else? I don't follow vzw much any more because services have all been moved to some form of at&t.

I couldn't get a ported Cricket number working on Red Pocket/At&t but they were cool enough to refund my 360 day plan I ordered on Ebay. Customer service was nice but useless.

Boz1, GPz1100: here is your example of Redpocket CDMAV having issues on Galaxy S7.. you had asked about this on another thread.. with the issues on samsung devices that redpocket seems to claim ignorance every time you talk to them, that amazon rating sounds about right!
