Tracfone sim in Walmart Family phone?

Anyone know if I can use a Tracfone sim in a Walmart Family phone? I thought they were one of Slim’s groups. Some Walmarts are clearing out iPhone SE’s for $70.

What carrier do you want to run on? Walmart Family Mobile is on T-Mobile. They might let you activate on TracFone (rebranding), but likely only as T-Mobile. Otherwise you need to use an activated TF/AT&T or TF/VZW SIM.

Actually I was thinking of swapping in an already activated Trac T-Mobile sim. Don’t really need another phone but I would like to have one as backup in case I break this one.

your already activated Tracfone T-Mobile sim should work since walmart family mobile is owned by tracfone - https://www.fiercewireless.com/wirel...-from-tracfone

Check Walmarts return policy and if you're covered, go for it.
