Does VZW prepaid block 712-432 (Iowa) phone numbers?

I recently switched to Tmobile postpaid, but one of the real bummers is that I can't call into a business conference call line specifically 712-432-5200 line I used to with VZW. I think ATT just doesn't allow the calls anymore. T-Mobile wants to charge me 1 cent per minute. Google Voice flat out doesn't allow the calls anymore, at least not for my account. There are many articles out there on this issue, even a Wikipedia article. The issue is known as "call pumping". That area code and exchange is controlled by a small phone company. They stay in business by charging much higher than normal "call termination rates".

I do get the phone companies' perspective on this. However, in past months I probably was on that line for 600 - 900 minutes in typical month. When I was on Verizon post paid until 3/4/19 -- I never had issues (meaning I wasn't charged) when calling the number I mentioned above. Clearly, VZW PP is going to be the better deal in terms of data vs the $60 single line post paid 5 GB. I just want to make sure I can call that # before I decide to do anything.

    Actually, it's called traffic pumping.
Google Voice will work but charge you .01/minute of usage (at least that's the way it used to work).

Verizon prepaid works fine calling that number/area code with no additional charge.

I did not try it with the 1 first on T Mobile. Just dialing it straight up results in 1 cent per minute. I dont have an active VZW line at the moment that why i posted my question and hoped someone could try. It seems like its ok with VZW pre paid given one of the comments here

Thanks for letting me know. Calling this number means a lot to me, so I may be switching back to the VZW family (likely prepaid) sometime after the 4th of the month. Hope the 7 GB bonus still applies but I'm not sure. I was also able to confirm that Xfinity Mobile also does not block the call to this Iowa #
