Refurbished iPhone 6 $75 or iPhone 6s $100 at Total Wireless

I saw this on Slickdeals and thought it might be of interest to some.
The Total Wireless website has the refurbished iPhone 6 32GB bundled with $25 airtime for $75 or the refurb iPhone 6s GB for $100 (no airtime).

Straight talk also has a new iPhone 6s in Rose Gold for $149.99. No smartphone plan purchase required.

Was wondering if this could be rebranded to Tracfone upon activation in the chat.

Yes, it can. You shouldn't even have to do anything special. Simply activate it like normal TF phone using the included SIM card.

Exactly. I recently did it with a iPhone SE bought from Straight Talk.
It was a new activation, (no transfer involved) so I did it online w/o doing Chat or a CS agent & it went very smoothly.

I'd get the 6S, double the ram from 1gb to 2gb worth it alone for 25 more bucks. I don't see the 5S and 6 getting the next ios version due to 1gb ram if that matters to you either, the SE/6S onward should get the new ios.

^^^ From my research on iphones before buying my SE, this is very good advice. I'd definitely get the 6s over the 6.....well worth it.

The iPhone 6S has better cameras, 3D touch, faster touch ID (fingerprint scanner), 2GB of RAM and it has the A9 chip.

They also have a new iPhone 6S in Rose Gold as well for $149.99 no plan purchase required.

I daily drive an iphone 6S, still very smooth device that's notably smoother than any other android I've ever used, even a flagship v20 that I even opened up to install a better than factory thermal pad inside, I had my share of woes with that phone tinkering with it DIY style lol....

with a fresh new apple battery installed by them in Feb, I see myself daily driving this 6S for a long time.

I mean, of course you could still use the 6 but for 25 more bucks the 6S is a no-brainer. There's still people out there using the "unsupported" 4S or 5 and 5C I'm sure on ios 9/10, just depends what your needs/wants are, but 25 bucks to future proof is WELL worth it.

It was actually a bit shocking, at the end of 2017 a close friend let me use their 5S and it was way smoother in tasks and going into apps/app switching than my on paper better specced honor 6x octa core 3gb ram android

Or just another option/choice in phones, which is always a good thing for the consumer.

Best to avoid discussions like this one that is clearly stated to be for a specific phone type. There are biases between iOs and Android that are not going away.

The discussion was fine, even interesting. I do like tech and knowing stuff.

It was the fan-boy stuff that tweaked me.

I've used Apple products, going back to the original Mac (well actually farther), and the fan-boy stuff has been there nearly that long.
