move from data bucket to unlimited?

Any reason not to switch from our data bucket to unlimited? I have 2 abusers on my 4-line shared account that literally went though 24 GB this month and we're on safety now and complaining about it.

with unlimited you may be subject to slower speeds if the tower is crowded.

If you can afford it, it's amazing to be able to use your phone how you want to without have to "data watch."

Yes, you will love the liberty of using data if you can afford.

Anyone with GoUnlimited have issues with data provisioning during periods of "congestion?"

Completely depends on where you are and the time. My wife has not had any issues.

Been on the lowest cost unlimited data plan since January , so far I have not gone over 10gb in a month, if they ever did slow it down I sure never noticed it. The way I understand it they are not supposed to be able to slow my data down unless I go over 15gb. At my home location verizon is my only option for internet other than satellite. Since I travel a lot Verizon data seems like my best option.

Ive heard this many times and to me it seems insignificant. I live in the New York City metropolitan area. In the few years I have had the go unlimited plan on 4 phones I don't even know if I'm throttled. I've been in Manhattan during the day with millions of other users and have never had a problem or been unable to stream anything

As other posters have said its nice just to use your phone and not have to worry about a data limit

I do have Go Unlimited to serve three lines. One of the three lines generally shows very heavy use, it's my eldest son and he doesn't have access to the internet or wifi, so his phone is his connection to the world. With less than 1/3 of my billing period expended, he has already used 19 GB and I don't hear any complaints from him. In the past three months, we have used 61.3 GB, 53 GB and 70.4 GB. If we have been restricted, i don't know about it.

    4 lines
Line 1 (My line) 31.45 GB used; 2 GB HotSpot with 3 days left
Line 2 (Wife's) 9 GB used; 4 GB HotSpot with 3 days left
Line 3 (Daughter) 30.45 GB used; 2.65 GB HotSpot with 3 days left
Line 4 - 4 GB data used with 3 days left

No complaints from lines 1 or 3.
We have "The New Verizon Plan Unlimited"
Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. -- Daniel Webster

Do you use the hotspot feature,if so I believe that is throttled at 600kbps. I could be wrong.

Rarely. If we're out and need to sync something to a tablet.
