    Myflip problems with 611611 and data

    I have no data connection and when I text 611 611 I don't get a response how do I fix this

    What key word are you texting to 611611 ?
    What's you're APN set as ?

    Thanks hpham that worked now the only other problem is balance checking through 611611 still isn't working

    I rarely got the balance info back when I texted USAGE or BALANCE to 611611. I just use the MyAccount app, or TF online account, or https://www.fastactportal.com/static/balance .

    Sorry, I have no suggestions. If the phone can send but not receive texts, it's not balance-related. If the texts are plain SMS (not MMS), then it's not data-related.

    611611 is an SMS text message and does not require data. Were you ever able to receive texts?

    The different scenarios of when VZWINTERNET works and when TRACFONE.VZWENTP works are inconclusive. So right now the advice is "if one doesn't work, try the other".

    Last Black Friday, I bought a Simple Mobile Moto E5 "DL" model that works with Verizon, AT&T, and T-mobile. When I swapped in a TF/VZ SIM from my TF-branded J3 Sky (with VoLTE), it selected TRACFONE.VZWENTP but not all Data-related functions worked (lost VoLTE). When I put in a BYOP TF/VZ SIM, it selected VZWINTERNET and everything (including VoLTE) work. Your situation sounds similar to that.

    My myFlip can send/receive calls/texts but when I texted "DUE" to 611611, I didn't get response back either. When I texted "BALANCE", the response back was "It appears your service is inactive. To reactivate it, reply REACT". But my TracFone on-line account shows everything as normal (in active state, correct service end date and balance). I can browse website with myFlip and its APN is VZWINTERNET.
