Boost Will be Sold as Part of Tmobile Merger

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/t-mob...225003947.html

Looks like this will all happen in fast order.

The faster this all happens the faster users will have easier access to phones without worrying about whether the phone will work on Boost.

Under the newly agreed plan, the companies would spin off Sprint’s Boost brand while keeping their Virgin Mobile and T-Mobile’s Metro labels.
Your, you're, yore; there, their, they're; to, too, two; by, buy; add, ad; for, four, fore.

It will be interesting to see who would buy them. Verizon would be the ideal choice since it would give them a prepaid brand that is already in Walmart and it would give Boost actual nationwide coverage. It really wouldn't make sense for AT&T to buy it since they already have Cricket. Not sure how this will effect stores.

From what I understand the proposal is for T-Mobile to offer the Boost buyer fixed wholesale rates for a fixed period of time.

In other words under the proposed plan Boost will operate as an MVNO of T-Mobile.
“The Internet wasn’t meant to be metered in bits and bytes, so it’s insane that wireless companies are still making you buy it this way. The rate plan is dead — it’s a fossil from a time when wireless was metered by every call or text.” John Legere 1/5/2017

That seems like a deal made for Comcast or Dish. Unless they are somehow allowed to sell it Google and it becomes the new version of Fi. Not sure how I would feel about that.

Believe proposal includes dead cost access to TM/Spr network for only 6 years. So I think that's got to knock down the value of Boost a lot.

But I'll sing my same song. This merger ain't happening. And one reason is John Legere is not liked at all by those deciding. Shouldn't matter, right? Well it does.
