Does visible have the same coverage as Verizon postpaid?

I know someone thinking about getting Verizon postpaid for the coverage but visible would be cheaper if it has the same coverage.

Yes, but de-prioritization and maybe no roaming to 3G CDMA. Lots of info here.

If it does not have the same roaming as Verizon postpaid it sounds like it would have less coverage.

His friend has Verizon postpaid and he wants the same coverage.

I think it would probably have enough coverage for him but just not sure unless he tried it.

The phone he has now is boost and it was suppose to have roaming but it did not work so he doesn't have good enough coverage.

According to the maps it doesn’t even have the same coverage as Verizon prepaid.
iPhone X is my current primary phone. I have older model iPhones and Moto phones available on other lines. Currently prepaid, though would consider postpaid on right plan.

    Agree, he probably shouldn't switch.

Thanks, he was also considering Verizon prepaid but I was thinking it likely did not have as good of coverage as Verizon postpaid.

So I will let him know he has to check the coverage map and then decide if he wants to try either Verizon prepaid or visible or just go with Verizon postpaid.

However, it sounds like if he wants to be sure to get the most coverage Verizon postpaid is likely better.

He is tired of not having coverage when he travels and wants better coverage because his friend with Verizon postpaid always has coverage.

If your friend per chance has a broadband account with Spectrum Cable, they may qualify for unlimited talk text and data with their MVNO Spectrum Mobile for $45 a month. Coverage is on the Verizon network and matches postpaid.

visible is native verizon only, and uses LTE only, so if you're in a non-lte area, you're out of luck. I read wi-fi calling is coming soon though.

Verizon is all LTE since they are shutting down CDMA in 187 days

WILL BE. And if visible only includes Verizon owned network there are some rural areas visible lacks that Verizon prepaid supports. Like a couple of areas in Oklahoma I haven’t had reason to visit when I’ve had Verizon

I thought the only LTE coverage difference between Verizon pre-paid & Visible were the LTEiRA areas?

As far as I know that is the case. At least domestically.

If visible is a verizon company they are not showing any experience in the telecom business. no response to text except auto and the same with "live" chat. And now no service either after installing their simcard
