No WiFi calling on Verizon MVNOs yet. It does work with T-Mobile service, at least on Tracfone.

Does straight talk Verizon have WiFi Calling? I have an Factory unlocked S8.
Thanks!
Just looking for something on Verizon that has WiFi calling for my parents. WiFi Calling is now a must as AT&T has now degraded to the point of NOT working at all on at my home and H2O doesnt support it. At least Verizon has an okay service here, but WiFi Calling would be nice.
Thanks!

No. Currently some of America Movil brands using AT&T and T-Mobile have WiFi calling activated. I do not know if Sprint has it enabled for AM brands. And in BOYD situations, it may be limited to certain device models.
Verizon seems to only allow WiFi Calling on Verizon-branded accounts last I checked. Visible, a Verizon-owned prepaid subsidiary, doesn’t even has WiFi Calling yet and has no ETA on implementation.

Yeah, that bloatware installation business is not fun. I guess I am lucky to have not had significant issues there using Google and Apple branded devices.
Even on Pixel, it tried to install the MyVerizon apps, but I stopped those installations pretty quick.
So unless you want to go through Verizon directly, don’t expect WiFi calling to happen anytime soon.
Maybe, depends on how good your social engineering skills are.
Many Verizon stores get commission on activations/sales of any sort, including prepaid, so they may “require” you to activate the first month in store to receive a sim or sell you the SIM instead. Likely selling the SIM for more than you could buy online or BBY/Walmart/Target.
You can buy a SIM kit from a BestBuy, Target or Walmart for roughly $10.
Just an update. Done from home didn't even have to leave. Used an old sim, ported , and $25 $40 Ebay pin and it's good to to. My mom can finally enjoy wifi calling after several years of nothing but issues even when texting
