I have 2 Tmobile lines at $10 per year, 3 H2O/ATT at $3.33 per month and 1 on Page Plus /Verizon at $2.50 per month. No way would this work with postpaid. The users talk less than 100 min. / month however. Since the minutes roll over, most have >$30 balances built up.
I carry 2 phones plus a hotspot when I travel so between ATT and Verizon I usually have coverage everywhere I go.

I assume that T-mobile plans are older grandfathered plans? I don't see anything available for less than $36/year from T-Mobile.
